1.THE ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE
The Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi is one of the many unique places to visit in Nairobi this Christmas. Most of the things to do in the orphanage involve getting up close and personal with the animals and that you are also able to get super close to the baby elephants and even touch them.
- THE CARNIVORE RESTAURANT
Carnivore is an open-air restaurant in the Langata suburb of Nairobi, Kenya. Carnivore’s specialty is meat and features an all-you-can-eat meat buffet. They serve a wide variety of meat and are famous for their well-cooked delicacies.
- GIRAFFE CENTRE
The Giraffe Center is approximately 20 kilometers from the center of Nairobi city. It was established in order to protect the endangered giraffe that is found only in the grasslands of East Africa.
- THE KAREN BILEX MUSEUM
This is a lovely and extremely informative site about the history and development of the Nairobi region; plus, it is a great break from the congestion & bustle of central Nairobi.
- THE DAVID SHELDRICK WILDLIFE CENTRE
The David Sheldrick Wildlife center is located in Nairobi National Park and provides a safe haven to orphaned baby elephants rescued. It is a beautiful place and one for a really good experience. It’s also nice how the guides explain the whole story behind each elephant.

Hiking is a good outdoor activity in Nairobi and the Karura forest is the most suitable for such event especially for lovers of nature. Whether a couple, a family or a group of friends you can hike in the forest and take a cool picture.

Located just at the heart of the city, this is an ideal place for couples and family for a picnic. The park also offers fun activities for children like slides and boat rides.
